		<description>Hi Wapita
As of this writing, the iPhone is not being sold in Singapore without a contract. That means to buy a iPhone in Singapore now (at least officially), you need to sign up with the current telco Singtel who is selling it in Singapore with a 2 year contract.

Alternatively, you can check out auction sites like ebay.com.sg to see if you can buy an iPhone (used or new) from an iPhone owner who wants to sell her own set.

Good luck! :)

		<description>Hi,

I come to Singapore for 10 months, for a job. I am German. I would like to buy and use an iphone in Singapore. What do you suggest me? By a 24 months contract with singtel, or buy the phone in a store and then have a smaller contract? I would not like to buy the extra months contract after I leave Singapore!
Thank you very much.</description>
